WORLD CHILDREN’S DAY PARTY DETAILS:
This is what Sofia said about planning the party- “The challenge this time was to create a very colorful, vibrant and more healthy party for the World’s Children Day and that would also be affordable. This party was both for girls and boys, so we had be very careful choosing the colors, the whole design and styling, that should be appropriate for both genders.
Our first idea was to make a rainbow party, but it’s such a common theme that we decided to do it with a different color scheme.
In the backdrop we used crepe paper streamers in the same colors as the stationary and in the table front we used some banners from the original template that included fruits and vegetables.
To display some of the food we also used wooden crates that we painted in white and filled with straw.
In this party we served strawberries in little pink dotted goblets over a flower punch from the party template, bananas in which we painted a little eye to make them look like dolphins and watermelon served in sticks (like if they were ice creams), stuck on half limes to give color and a more healthy look.
The sweets included carrot cake, chocolate spoons, popcorns and a delicious and gorgeous lemon cake filled with strawberry cream decorated with fruits and straw.
We also served sausage croissants, smoked salmon wraps and ham paste sandwiches cut in a pear and apple shape.
The drinks included raspberry lemonade and regular lemonade too with basil leaves.
The result was a fun and colorful party to celebrate Children’s Day and all the kids that participated had a great time!”
